Mexican Breakfast Margarita

for Blood Orange & Bitter Lemon Shrub

Tequila and orange have a great affinity, and in this modern variation of the Margarita, swapping the Cointreau out for blood orange & bitter lemon makes a vibrant combination.

 

Glass

Martini or liqueur

Ingredients

50ml reposado tequila

25ml blood orange & bitter lemon shrub

20ml lime juice

Good pinch of salt

Directions

1. Combine tequila, shrub, lime and salt in a cocktail shaker
2. Add ice
3. Shake hard
4. Strain into glass
