This is a wonderful combination of flavours - the gin and the shrub work well together to give a a great juniper and citrus base that Champagne lengthens delightfully. If you like citrus and bitter and have a penchant for Champagne, this has your name on it

25ml gin
25ml vermouth - make it a good one, we like Ataman
25ml blood orange & bitter lemon shrub
champagne
Directions
- Blend gin, vermouth and shrub in champagne flute and stir well
- Top with champagne - you can use prosecco
- Garnish with a grapefruit wedge
