Nonsuch Mary

for Blood Orange & Bitter Lemon and Bittersweet Apple & Cardamom - 2 Flavour Set

A Bloody Mary is a very contentious thing - an alcohol free version even more so. Here's our take on the matter, using our Bittersweet Apple & Cardamom Shrub to give an aromatic foundation on which to build. Deeply satisfying and hard to spot the missing alcohol.

 

Glass

Stemmed or highball

Ingredients

25ml bittersweet apple & cardamom shrub

1 tsp horseradish sauce

Squeeze of lemon

3-4 drops tabasco

1 tsp sherry vinegar (or cyder vinegar if you don't have)

175ml tomato juice

Directions

1. Blend ingredients in your glass
2. Stir well
3. Add ice
4. Stir again
5. Garnish with a celery stick if that is your thing
