A variation on Ervin Tryowski’s original, swapping out Vermouth for our Bittersweet Apple & Cardamom Shrub. Spicy, resinous with a satisfying balance of bitter and sweet..

Ingredients

35ml gin

20ml bittersweet apple & cardamom shrub

50ml IPA such as Goose Island or Brewdog Punk

Directions

1. Stir the beer in a mixing glass until flat
2. Add the remaining ingredients with ice
3. Stir until cold
4. Strain into glass
5. Garnish with a lemon peel twist
